Who we are

Appliance Doctor is a locally owned appliance repair company in Great Falls, MT.  We have over 20 years of combined experience servicing, repairing and installing home and commercial appliances.

What we do

Appliance Doctor services, repairs and installs home appliances, and also some commercial appliances, such as ovens, fryers and freezers.  But that's not all we do!  Appliance Doctor provides exceptional service to our community and surrounding area by being friendly, honest and fair.  We may meet you as your appliance repair guy, but we leave also as your friend.

Appliance Doctor's Story

Gene worked in the commercial industry for over 20 years, servicing, repairing and installing restaurant equipment, soda machines and coolers, high-tech dental equipment, and more.  Having that knowledge, those skills and the experience, in the fall of 2021, we set out to start our own business.

We researched the Great Falls and surrounding area to see if there was really a need for another appliance repair company.  What we found was there were some appliance repair businesses in the area, but the demand was higher than the available options. 

 

In December 2021, we chose our business name.  In January 2022, we found Chip, the Appliance Doctor van, and had a logo created. The Appliance Doctor on Chip is actually a caricature of Gene and the heartbeat in the washing machine door is an actual image of his sister Tammy's heartbeat.  In February 2022, Appliance Doctor became a living, breathing entity, providing services part-time to our community.  The demand was so high that we became full-time in no time at all.

The story behind Tammy's heartbeat... We chose to include Tammy's (Gene's sister) heartbeat in the logo in her honor, because she flew with the angels too young in 2021.  That trial in Gene's life became the biggest push of his life to do something different.  That's when the research of this business began. Tammy is always in his heart wherever he goes, and he now carries her heartbeat with him when he enters your home or business. Tammy is the heartbeat of our business!
